With a musical career that has spanned for more than 2 decades, Jack Radics has earned his reputation as an ambassador of music. He formed and influenced the vanguard of a bright and new foray of a classical genre combining “Soul/Pop & Reggae,” and called it "Reggae, Rhythm & Pop" a historical event.
Radics distinguished himself as a Band Leader, SoloArtist,Songwriter,and Music Producer/Arranger, who during his career he has collaborated with a phenomenal list of the most prominent musicians and producers in Jamaica & Europe;including a world tour with the Legendary Musician Mr. Joe Cocker.
In Jamaica and Europe, Jack Radics belongs at the spearhead of these artists who control all variants of Reggae and other genres that have reached in their profession more or less everything one can achieve. This suggests the remarkable diversity of his career and styles; in addition, he has the distinction of probably being the only Jamaican artist signed to five major labels, (Island, Sony, Jive, EMI, and RCA) Furthermore "Regenbogen Radio 2000 Awards" Germany for "Best Male Vocalist", Germany, Switzerland, and Austria and a “Nomination in the 2000 Golden Europa Awards”
Radics released his first solo album in 1991; meanwhile there were half-dozen more on various labels, including “Open Rebuke” nominated by Black Music Magazine as best “Reggae Album” of the year {1994}. Only the previous year, Radics together with Chaka Demus & Pliers landed his first No.1 hit "Twist and Shout" and reached platinum, and an entry in the “Guinness Book of Records.”
His “Rhythm'n'Pop,” according to its own definition ofa free style mixture which he combined, “Pop, Soul & Reggae,” fact is Jack Radics had already marked out his imaginative musical terrain years earlier with his album “Love & Laughter " together with both hit singles, " No Matter " and "That's Life," with the potential to conquer a modern audience. While to most Reggae experts a concept, nevertheless, it fulfilled all stylistic limitations for “Love & Laughter” with an artistic and astonishing coup.
Jamaican singer Jack Radics and German writer and producer Rüdiger Nieschmidt' discovered they shared mutual musical interests, soon after they shared collective visions, which they put into action and produced the album “Love & Laughter”followed by the brilliant album “Always Around.” Consequently, the song “No Matter” topped the air charts not only in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, but in sunny South Africa also, for weeks.
In his songs the blood of Reggae pulsates only discreetly, what is prevailing here is a universal “Pop Language” which also applied to the album "Always Around,” his original songs’ coming power was more natural, furthermore, inspiring.
The sovereignty seized by the duality of Jack Radics pleasantly dark voice and optimistically melodies, prospers admirably.

In the high intensity of entertainment other than his album “Always Around,” were the songs “I Need Sunshine" & “I can't Wait” written by Jack Radics together with Writers/Producers Sascha, Grant Michael B., and Pomez di Lorenzo. In these songs one can identify in small elementary particles, Motown Soul, Philly Sound, and the respectable class of old Stax rhythms, also is reminiscent the exulting beat of the Fine Young Cannibals, other times prepared adversary are the rhythms of the Well-Trojan Jamaican labels. Combined together, here we have a vivacious and “Ultra-Modern Lover's Rock” rhythm, produced on the keyboard of the Soul.
Gallant admissions such as "Make You Mine,” intimate “Confessions,” fervently perseverance "I'll Do It Again", the pragmatic insights "Kisses Don't Lie", combined with sentimental feelings “Remember.” One can only say that, “Love” is the “Trump card,” which Jack Radics draws from his divine inspiration. “Inner Side" resembles gospel and the deeply touching “River Of Tears” obviously, are beguiling soul thrills of universal validity.
What is interesting about Jack Radics is his ingenious way to manipulate and sculpture lyrics collectively like play dough.” He stretches and kneads them repeatedly, every line, every tiny word, then twines and weaves them in rhythms and thus, breathes life in to his songs.
Radics songs are a musical déjà vu you want to relive day after day. It was affirmative that the albums “Love & Laughter” and “Always Around” were to dominate airplay charts through the summer weeks if not throughout the months, and they did.

Verspürt man angehörs dieser Lieder nicht unweigerlich jenen wohligen Schauer, der einen überkommt, wenn man verloren Geglaubtes oder Liebgewonnenes plötzlich wiederentdeckt? Tatsache ist, dass Jack Radics vor zwei Jahren mit seinem Album "Love & Laughter" sowie den beiden Hitsingles "No Matter" und "That's Life" ein künstlerisches Terrain neu abgesteckt hatte und mit seinem Rhythm'n'Pop, so die Eigendefinition seiner lockeren Mixtur aus Pop, Soul und Reggae, ein ganz neues Publikum
erobern konnte. Der jamaikanische Sänger war bis dahin in Deutschland allenfalls Reggaekennern ein Begriff, hatte jedoch für
"Love & Laughter" alle stilistischen Begrenzungen mit einem künstlerischen Handstreich abgelegt. In seinen Songs pulsiert nur noch dezent das Blut des Reggae, vorherrschend ist hier eine deutlich universellere Popsprache. Im Verlauf von über zwanzig Jahren führte die Karriere Jack Radics' von Jamaika nach New York, von dort aus nach London und schließlich nach Köln. Die Liste der prominenten Musiker, mit denen er in dieser Zeit zusammenarbeitete, reicht von Freddie McGregor bis Ali Campbell von UB 40, von Sly & Robbie bis zu den Fishermen, von Big Youth bis Super Cat, von Bounty Killer bis Mr. President. Auf Jamaika gehört Jack Radics Guinness Buch der Rekorde. Vor vier Jahren lernte Jack Radics auf Jamaika den deutschen Autoren und Produzenten Rüdiger Nieschmidt kennen. Aus gemeinsamen musikalischen Interessen wurden schnell gemeinsame Visionen, die sie für "Love & Laughter" und über weite Strecken auch für "Always Around" glänzur Speerspitze jener Künstler, die alle Spielarten des Genres beherrschen und in ihrem Metier so ziemlich alles erreicht haben, was es zu erreichen gibt. Sein erstes Soloalbum veröffentlichte Radics 1991, mittlerweile sind es ein halbes Dutzend auf diversen Labels, darunter auch das von dem Black Music Magazine Echoes zum besten Reggaealbum des Jahres gewählte "Open Rebuke" aus dem Jahr 1994. Ein Jahr zuvor landete Radics gemeinsam mit Chaka Demus & Pliers seinen ersten No.1 Hit: "Twist & Shout" erreichte sogar Platin und einen Eintrag ins zend in die Tat umsetzten. So war "No Matter" nicht nur in Deutschland, Österreich und der Schweiz ein Top-Hit, selbst in Südafrika führte das sonnige Lied wochenlang die Airplay-Charts an. Im höchsten Maße unterhaltsam sind denn auch die 14 Songs auf "Always Around". Allen voran die jüngsten Aufnahmen "I Need Sunshine" und "I Can't Wait", die Radics gemeinsam mit den Produzenten von Sascha, Grant Michael B. und Pomez di Lorenzo, schrieb. Eine neue und vielversprechende Liaison, die sich da aufgetan hat, und die die Vorhut zu einem putzmunteren Streifzug durch den klassischen Katalog der Soul-, Pop- und Reggaegeschichte bildet. Man hört in kleinen Elementarteilchen Motown-Soul, Philly-Sound und die solide Klasse von alten Stax-Aufnahmen, scheint dem frohlockenden Beat der Fine Young Cannibals wiederzubegegnen und fühlt sich zuweilen an die wohltemperierten Einspielungen des jamaikanischen Trojan Labels erinnert. Das alles wird hier schwungvoll auf den Punkt produziert: Hochmoderner Lover's Rock auf der Klaviatur des Soul. Von galantem Werben ("Make You Mine") und innigen Liebesbeichten ("Confession") über inbrünstige Beharrlichkeit ("I'll Do It Again") und pragmatische Einsichten ("Kisses Don't Lie") bis zu sentimentalen Gefühlen ("Remember"), Amor ist Trumpf. Woraus Jack Radics die unglaubliche Kraft schöpft, wird bei dem gospelgleichen "Inner Side" und dem tief berührenden "River Of Tears" offenbar - das sind betörende Seelenkitzel von universeller Gültigkeit. Beeindruckend immer wieder, wie Jack Radics die Vokale dehnt und knetet, sich in jede Textzeile kniet, kleine Riddims einflicht und so den Songs Leben einhaucht.
